The advantage of category archives is that you can focus just on the category you care about. Cal Fans can always bookmark http://thecrawfordfamily.net/blog/?cat=18 and get Cal-only content. But I admit, people can be confused. (This is our challenge on Idiots Write About Sports, since we cover various topics and oftentimes people only want to read about Cal, or the Giants, or the A’s.)

I dunno Ken, I’ve always thought you should have 58 different blogs. One for each subcategory ya know?
Like one for Cal Offensive, one for Cal Defensive, one for Cal Special Teams… yada yada yada
lol just kidding, I thought that’s the point of the filters? Since I’ve turned on the Cal filter I just assumed you did your Catholic thoughts…

It doesn’t really matter for me. My Cal stuff is posted on what is normally an A’s blog. But it’s the offseason, there has to be something for me to do in offeseson right?

Look, this is your blog and you have ultimate control of what can be put into it.

In other words, don’t sweat it.
